Mayor Duffy in Your Neighborhood - Northeast Quadrant

Northeast Rochester, generally from the Irondequoit border to East Main St. and the Genesee River/Inner Loop  to the City line, is a vibrant mix of residential and commercial spaces and home of the famous Rochester Public Market and the new El Camino/Butterhole Trail.

Norton Street Improvement Completed .. ... Over $5 million dollars    Mill/Surface streets to provide residents with improved curbing and water drainage
St Michael's II Completed  7-May Isla/Conifer $5,232,000 $500,000 (HOME) 32 units of new senior housing was developed
Wilson Commencement II Completed 7-Dec Housing Opportunities $4,800,000 $200,000 (HOME) 18 new units of supportive housing created adding to the award winning Wilson Commencement complex on Joseph Avenue.
Susan B. Anthony Apartments Completed Spring-07 Housing Opportunities $3,200,000 $639,000 (HOME) 24 units of affordable housing was upgraded and made lead safe
Marketview Heights Rental Planned Spring-09 Marketview Heights Association $1,131,000 $80,000 (HOME) 8 units of new affordable housing will be developed with the rehabilitation of 308-310 North Street
North Ave Rec Center Completed   Parks Operations $632,361   Complete Site Rehabilitation
Brownfield Investigation .. .. .. Over $5 million secured in additional NYSDEC & USEPA   Possible use of property for future development
Animatics Corporation/Opening of New Location         CDF = $180,000 CDBG = $145,000 This is a new Northeast location for the company which is headquartered in California.
Rohrbach Brewing Company/Acquisition and Renovation of Real Estate         CDF = $30,000 CDBG = $125,000 The company relocated its brewing operation from Ogden to the City. Will create 6 jobs
