Northwest Rochester, generally stretching from Lake Ontario on the north, West Main Street on the south, and from the City line to the Genesee River, has it all - tourist attractions, historic homes and ethnic diversity.

Edgerton Park Completed     $323,000   Improved appearance of existing courts(nets and backboards
Middle Falls Crossing and Trail Improvement Completed     $320,000 creating an additional link in the Genesee Riverway Trail system   Links city neighborhoods and makes the trail more accesible to the public. With the completion of the Middle Falls Crossing, the Genesee Riverway Trail is now continuous from Lake Ontario to Brewer Street, and from Court Street Downtown to and past the Erie Canal. 
Genesee Riverway Trail Completed 2006 .. $1 Million City and leveraged 4 million from Federal Government   Provide scenic access to river for thousands of residents and visitors. Has won four (4) design awards.
JOSANA Rental Underway Spring-09 RHA/NorthStar $2,250,000 $300,000 10 new, affordable, rental units are being constructed.
JOSANA- Habitat Underway Spring-09 Habitat $610,000 $61,000 10 single-family homes are being constructed.
Frederick Douglass Apartments Underway Spring-09 RHA/NorthStar $4,151,266 Restructure existing debt & PILOT 28 units of affordable rental housing is being renovated by RHA/North Star Development
JP Riley on Santee Street Completed 2007 DES Parks, Maintenance & Community $3,200   Improved playground for neighborhood enjoyment
Maplewood Park Playground Completed    DES Parks and community members Approximately $1400   Improved playground for neighborhood enjoyment
Private Label Foods of Rochester, Inc./Purchase of Equipment         $150,000 CDBG Will create 15 jobs within three years
Jamestown Container Corporation/Purchase of Equipment, Bldg. Renov.         City Development Funds CDBG = $250,000(CDF) = $10,000 The local operation currently employs 80 FTE's of which 50% are City residents. Will create 15 jobs
Klein Steel Service/Building Expansion         $500,000 This is a $7,686,349 expansion project. CDBG Will create 30 jobs within three years
Price-Rite/recruited to replace Wegmans            Recruited the full-service grocery store to replace Wegmans.
HF Technologies/relocated its manufacturing plant here from China           Creating 76 jobs over five years
Nu-kote/moved its headquarters here from Franklin, TN           Brought 150 jobs to the area
